Sutter County Adult Education provides preparation classes for the HiSET® exam, offering students an opportunity to earn a high school equivalency certificate. Our self-paced learning environment, conducted in an instructional lab setting, includes individually designed lessons along with whole group and small group direct instruction. Most students typically begin taking the HiSET® exam after approximately 4 weeks of the preparation class. Upon completing 40 hours of class time, students receive a $50 voucher to register for the HiSET® exam through Sutter County Adult Education. This program equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully earn their high school equivalency credential and pursue their educational and career goals.
