TIP Teens

The Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) provides an opportunity for teenagers aged 14-21 to volunteer and make a positive impact in their community. By actively participating as responders within the TIP framework, teenagers can benefit personally and contribute to enhancing the program's ability to support traumatized youth. The objectives of TIP Teens are multifaceted. They aim to raise awareness among teens about the challenges faced by survivors, cultivate their skills in emotional first aid, provide them with meaningful service opportunities, and bolster the effectiveness of TIP Chapters in aiding traumatized children and adolescents. Teen volunteers can leverage their unique connections with survivors, which also proves effective in assisting adult survivors.
