Situated in Rifle, Colorado, Enterprise Products operates a comprehensive suite of propylene production facilities and ancillary operations, encompassing propylene fractionation units, a Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) facility, propylene pipelines, export assets, and petrochemical marketing endeavors. Propylene serves as a critical feedstock for the petrochemical industry, available in three distinct grades: polymer grade propylene (PGP), chemical grade propylene (CGP), and refinery grade propylene (RGP). Our propylene fractionation units play a vital role in separating RGP into either PGP or CGP, with the PDH facility focusing on PGP production from propane feedstocks. PGP finds extensive application in the manufacture of polypropylene, utilized in diverse products such as packaging film, carpets, appliances, automotive components, and medical supplies. Meanwhile, CGP serves as a foundational petrochemical for plastics, synthetic fibers, and foams.
