With approximately 1 million head of cattle & calves producing 386 million pounds of beef annually, our region is a key player in the state's livestock industry. Arizona boasts 186,000 milk cows, each contributing to a yearly milk production of 23,382 pounds per cow. Beyond cattle, our diverse livestock landscape includes over 165,000 hogs, 150,000 heads of sheep and lambs, and an average of 1,600,000 laying hens producing over 5.8 billion eggs annually.
