Training:

Dr Nielsen attended medical school at AT Still University in Kirksville, Missouri and completed his orthopedic fellowship and residency at Utah Valley Sports Medicine and St. Marks Family Medicine, respectively. He is well-known for providing orthopedic treatment to several local sports teams including BYU, UVU, Orem High, Skyridge High School, and Lone Peak High School. Dr Nielsen is 1 of 7 orthopedic/sports medicine providers in the State of Utah with a RMSK certification for diagnostic and ultrasound-guided therapeutic treatments. Today, he continues to treat individuals throughout the Lehi and Saratoga areas.
