Transitional Kindergarten(TK)

TK gives your child the opportunity to begin to spread their wings in a safe, developmentally age-appropriate environment. St. Mel School teaches TKers a sense of responsibility, community, and the Catholic faith all within a nurturing and loving atmosphere. The St. Mel TK program focuses on the spiritual, physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of your child. In addition to daily class instruction, TK students participate in weekly enrichment activities that include Spanish, Physical Education, Technology Lab, Music, and the school library. Our TK program provides students with a wealth of opportunities to achieve the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare them for Kindergarten.
