How to wash hockey equipment in a washing machine:
You can wash everything except helmets and skates in a warm-water load in your washing machine: chest protector, elbow pads, shin guards, jock, pants, socks, neck guard, and even gloves. Depending on the size of your washer and your kids’ equipment, you may need to divide the gear into 2 or 3 loads.
