Rubbing to edges of boards bumping to tips and heads and tails of spines.
Light soiling to boards and plates on covers.
Mild age-toning to endpapers.
Some discoloration from adhesive to the white paper that the plates have been mounted on before being tipped in the woodcut plates themselves have not been affected by this. Binding relatively firm.
Overall, a lovely set of the two volumes.
